Mental Health Counseling I help clients examine, confront, clarify, & reassess their understanding of the limits they place on their freedom & happiness. Together we look at the ideas, emotions, & behaviors that emerge from issues relating to family of origin, relationships, sexuality, & personal identity. I approach people who come to my office as clients and not as patients, as equals in a process that promotes understanding and eases suffering. Many of our struggles come from traumas of the past and, in our work together, we will clarify the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of those struggles so that you may learn how to overcome them.
